Boutique Pilot stores all customer measurements and orders locally on your phone. To create an external backup:

1. Open the app and tap the Profile icon in the top right.
2. Scroll to Data Safety & Backup and tap Backup Data.
3. The app generates an encrypted .stbackup container file with a SHA-256 hash.
4. When the Android system Share sheet appears, select Google Drive or save to an SD card.

Important: Backups must be saved externally. Uninstalling the app deletes local files.

Because the app does not store your customer records on remote cloud servers, performing a factory reset or switching to a new smartphone without an exported backup file will result in permanent loss of your local data.

Always perform a monthly backup using the in-app backup feature and verify that the file is safely uploaded to your personal Google Drive account before wiping or changing your phone.

To protect your confidential boutique records, the local SQLite database is cryptographically bound to the first email address registered on that device. If a second user attempts to sign into their account on your smartphone, the app halts access to prevent mixing or corrupting your customer measurements and wage records.

If you genuinely need to switch accounts on the same phone, you must first export your backup, then clear app storage in Android settings.

Boutique Pilot PRO (formerly Smart Tailor PRO) is available in three verified tiers:

• Pro Monthly: ₹149 / month (Auto-renewing)
• Pro Yearly: ₹1,499 / year (~16% savings, auto-renewing)
• 4-Year Pro: ₹3,999 / 4 calendar years (Consumable license, stackable)

Payments are processed exclusively through Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled via Google Play Subscriptions at least 24 hours prior to renewal.

72-Hour Soft Buffer: If a renewal payment fails, the app provides a 72-hour grace period during which all PRO features remain accessible while you update your payment method. Your data is never locked or deleted.

Under Worker Management, the Job Master holds standard shop jobs (e.g., Lined Blouse Stitching, Kurti Cutting, Aari Handwork) with default rates.

You can also set custom rate overrides for specific artisans based on their skill level. When an order is assigned to a worker, the rate is frozen as an immutable snapshot for that job, ensuring mid-order rate changes never disrupt wage calculations.

The Application's double-entry ledger enforces rigorous accounting rules:

• Work Done: Increases the worker's earned balance; 0 immediate cash outflow.
• Payment: Reduces worker balance; records cash outflow under worker expenses.
• Advance: Reduces worker balance (pre-payment); records cash outflow.
• Deduction: Reduces worker balance (garment alteration penalty or material cost); 0 cash outflow (does not double-count in profit calculations).

The Worker Monthly Report balances: Opening + Earned - Payments - Advances - Deductions = Closing Balance.

As confirmed by our data policy, deleting your cloud account removes your server-side identity while leaving your local customer measurements and order records completely intact on your phone.

Yes, absolutely. An internet connection is required only during initial registration, sign-in, and Google Play subscription validation. Once logged in, all daily boutique activities—saving measurements, tracking orders, recording expenses, and generating PDF customer invoices—function 100% offline without any internet connection.

When you register a new customer with a phone number, the app provides an optional toggle: "Save to Phone Contacts". If enabled, it writes that customer's name and phone number directly into your smartphone's native address book so you can immediately recognize their incoming calls or find them in WhatsApp.

100% On-Device Privacy: Boutique Pilot never scans or collects your personal phone contacts, never transmits your contact list to any external server, and never sells contact data to third parties.

The Tailoring & Cutting Academy is an in-app digital masterclass featuring 6 specialized modules (Kurti & Ladies Suit Cutting, Blouse Cutting & Apex Formulas, Salwar & Pants Bottoms, Sleeve & Armhole Science, Kalidar Lehenga, and Body Measurements & Fitting Troubleshooting).

Each module provides mathematical formulas, 2D CAD cutting blueprints, and ease allowance guidelines. Master cutters must always re-measure individual client specs and add appropriate seam margins before cutting cloth.
